Debra Rodman is a seasoned government relations professional and the visionary founder of Rodman Strategies. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, and as a former member of the Virginia house of delegates, Debra has built a reputation for her expertise in navigating complex political landscapes and delivering impactful results for her clients.

Prior to founding Rodman Strategies, Debra held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Her ability to build bipartisan coalitions and engage with key lawmakers made her an instrumental figure in advancing critical policy priorities.

Debra has worked extensively with nonprofits, businesses, and advocacy organizations, providing strategic guidance on legislative initiatives, securing government funding, and fostering relationships with influential policymakers. Her deep knowledge of the legislative process, combined with a passion for making a difference, has allowed her to effectively shape public policy across a range of issue areas.

Delegate Rodman received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University of Miami, her Master’s degree in marine affairs and policy at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and her Ph.D. in anthropology at the University of Florida.

A graduate of the Maryland Institute, College of Art, Gene is adept at collaborating closely with clients to ensure their vision is realized while also pushing the boundaries of creativity. In addition to his design work, Gene actively engages in industry trends, always seeking innovative ways to merge design and advocacy.
